Chad Millard, born and raised in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and currently resides in South Milwaukee with his son Alex. A graduate from Oak Creek High School, he continued his education at MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) where he received a Technical Diploma in Carpentry and Cabinet Making. Upon completion he yet continued his education and received a designation as a CKBR (Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler) thru Milwaukee NARI (National Association of Remodelers) as well as his CCP (Certified Contractor Professional) designation thru MBA (Metropolitan Builders Association). As an active board member with MBA’s Green Building Council, Chad states, “I’m dedicated to learning new ways to conserving our environment and becoming more energy efficient.” He is also an active member of Franklin Lion’s Club.
Since his youth, he has been surrounded by the construction industry by working for his father, Gary Millard C.E.O. and owner of Wooden Thumb Inc. Chad states, “Over the years a real passion for building developed. My drive and motivation comes from positive reactions that we receive from our clients who appreciate the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail that’s hard to find in today’s industry.”
Having a constant awareness of new technologies and building products Chad applies new concepts to keep up with our ever-changing industry. Chad’s guidelines for keeping a project “intact and on-time” are, first and foremost, customer satisfaction. Chad takes great pride in knowing building this type of relationship with customers is the key to a successful project. He looks forward to being your Project Manager and most importantly exceeding your expectations in every aspect the building process.
